ISLAMABAD (February 09 2010): Imtiaz Haider joined Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) as Managing Director with effect from February 8, 2010.A press release of the ISE issued on Monday said, Imtiaz Haider had more than 20 years experience in finance, business management, corporate governance, academia and marketing.

Before joining ISE, Haider was group head, corporate finance and compliance and business development in a leading business group. Besides, business development in local and international market and overseeing and managing compliance issues in the Group, Haider's last assignment was as CEO of AKD REIT Management Company.

Prior to joining AKD Group, Haider served as executive director in the Securities Market Division at the SECP where he was responsible for operations of securities markets, monitoring and supervising of trading activities; licensing and co-ordination and regulations of the secondary markets.

Haider also served as the head of corporate governance as well as zonal manager at National Investment Trust Limited spearheading strategic and operational activities and managing government relationships. Imtiaz Haider was a business graduate, having law degree as well, press release added.-PR
